The fifteenth edition of the LeAltreNote International Music Festival continues. Following last night's concert at the Tresivio Town Hall, titled "My Way," featuring music by Giuseppe Verdi, Karl Jenkins, Nino Rota, and Ennio Morricone for the "Friuli Venezia Giulia" trumpet ensemble, tonight the Aprica Auditorium will host "Classicamente Jazz" by the Eccentrico Quartet , composed of Massimo Ghetti (flute), Alan Selva (clarinet), Javier Adrian Gonzalez (bassoon), and Arcangelo Neri (drums). A wide-ranging program offering a classical take on the most important jazz compositions. In a lively crossroads of authors, arrangements, and artistic sensibilities, the concert offers the opportunity to rediscover, page after page, several key chapters in the history of jazz and rediscover them in a new light, through original and unexpected reinterpretations. Among the many songs on the setlist, you can hear The Man I Love and Summertime by George Gershwin, In a Sentimental Mood and Caravan by Duke Ellington, Night in Tunisia by Dizzy Gillespie, Round Midnight by Thelonius Monk, Hymn to Freedom by Oscar Peterson, Habanera by Paquito D'Rivera and many others.
